Golden Hometown - Professor Lu Guowen successfully held a concert at Peking University
At 17:00 on June 17, Professor Lu Guowen of our college successfully held a solo concert entitled "Hometown of Golden" at Peking University Centennial Hall.
In the study of the artistic journey of our national music culture and vocal performance art, Professor Lu Guofen's footprints all over China's major rivers, coupled with the study in Italy, is also a hometown wandering, is also a foreign traveler role, so that Professor Lu Guowen is more rich in music And deep understanding. This "Golden Hometown" solo concert is exactly the best interpretation of Professor Lu Guowen's understanding of Eastern and Western music and culture as well as unique insights into music aesthetics. The concert features a total of 15 works, including not only the friendly and melodious Chinese folk songs, "Du Dahl and Mary", "in that distant place," "Pastoral", "Under the silver moonlight", but also unique Italian folk songs and classical vocal works "Please do not forget me", "Amari Li", as well as the dramatic opera electoral "steal a tear", "woman fickleness" and so on. These works fully demonstrate Professor Lu Guowen's comprehensive and skillful singing skills in both Chinese and Western works, as well as his unique artistic insights. And as the last piece of music, the last piece of Puccini's classic opera "Turandot" selection "tonight, no one fell asleep", it is set off a full-scale concert climax. Eventually, the concert ended successfully with two repertoire returned by Professor Lu Guowen, the famous Italian folk songs My Sun and Returning to Teruel, as well as cheers from the audience.
Music and Recording Arts Institute Department of music vocal performance teacher Cao Hui, Zhao Ke starred in the concert. The female professors choir of our school sang the three tracks of "Snowflake", "Yaoshan Night Songs" and "Tonight No-one-asleep" (Accompaniment) to let the audience see the good mentality and artistic accomplishment of the female teachers in our school. As the artistic director of this concert, our young pianist Mark served as piano accompaniment for the entire concert.
The concert interprets the classic art of the nation and the world, bringing the audience an elegant and magnificent sound feast. Lu Guowen, Professor of Music and Master Instructor at the School of Music and Recording Arts of the Faculty of Arts, China's renowned tenor and vocal educator, founded our vocal performance in 2011. He received a professional vocal education from childhood, had studied in Italy, under the teacher from world-renowned tenor Pavarotti Italian Opera Academy Dean Miranda Ferraro, studying the traditional Italian vocal singing, at large vocal competitions at home and abroad In the repeated success. After returning home, Professor Lu Guowen devoted himself to the work of vocal education and trained many high-quality vocal talents over the years.
